Home Education & SEN
Home education is a specialist area for many of our tutors; some have even home educated their own children. We support all kinds of home educators: those who have chosen this path for practical, ethical, educational, medical or special needs reasons.
Our tutors run home-educator groups and work with individuals. As well as preparing students for national examinations, enrichment builds confidence and knowledge in these most independent of learners.

SEN
Everyone in the Society of Tutors has some experience of working with various special educational needs; it is the nature of being a tutor that students who struggle and need extra help often do so because they have some kind of learning difficulty. The tutors on this page have had specific training in SEN or have special interest in particular areas, such as dyslexia, autism, ADHD. Please do contact any of our other tutors too as they may be able to help you.
