Physics is one of the most fascinating subjects students encounter at school. It explains everything from black holes and quantum phenomena to the technology we use every day. Success, however, requires students to connect concepts, mathematics and problem-solving in a way that few other subjects demand.
Some students come to me to rebuild confidence and strengthen their understanding of difficult topics. Others are already achieving high grades and are looking to convert an A into an A*, secure a competitive university offer, or refine their examination technique.
My approach combines nearly three decades of teaching experience with extensive work in assessment and qualification development. As an examiner, question writer and assessment specialist, I understand not only the physics itself, but also how understanding is assessed and where students most commonly lose marks.
Many of the most challenging areas of A-Level Physics are supported by my own custom graphics, animations and teaching resources, designed to make abstract concepts easier to visualise and understand. Lessons are tailored to the individual student, whether they require extension and challenge, targeted intervention, or support with autism, ADHD or anxiety.
The aim is always the same: to help students develop deeper understanding, greater confidence and the highest level of performance they are capable of achieving.
